Jayson assumed the role of Vice President and Fund Manager for Parkway's second discretionary investment fund in 2008. In this role, Jayson serves as liaison to the partners in Parkway's $750 million discretionary investment fund and works to identify acquisition opportunities for the fund.
Jayson joined Parkway in 2001 as an acquisition analyst where he assisted in the analysis of prospective acquisitions. In 2002, he moved to Houston to participate in Parkway's Boot Camp Program, where he managed and leased a building for a year. In 2003, Jayson was reassigned to Parkway's 400 North Belt building where he worked to release one of the most significant vacancies in Parkway's history. In 2004, he was promoted to Regional Manager and moved to North Carolina to run Parkway's Charlotte assets. In 2006 Jayson was promoted to Asset Manager for Parkway's North and South Carolina assets.
Jayson received a Bachelors of Science degree from Washington and Lee University in 2001. In 2008, he received an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. At the Darden School, Jayson received the William Michael Shermet Award for academic excellence, the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, and was elected to the Raven Society, the oldest and most prestigious academic honor society at the University of Virginia.
