Mr. Bakke has been in the real estate industry for over 23 years and has been with Equity Office Properties (EOP) for 18 years.  He is currently the Market Managing Director for Boston, responsible for leasing, operations and the overall financial performance of the company’s 12 million square foot portfolio in the greater Boston area.  He has held a variety of senior positions with the company and its predecessors including Senior Vice President, National Leasing, responsible for all marketing and leasing of the company’s 125 million square foot national portfolio and Senior Vice President, Field Operations with responsibilities for all leasing and property operations for EOP’s national portfolio.

Prior to joining Equity Office Properties in 1991, Mr. Bakke held positions with The Staubach Company and Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services.   Prior to his real estate career he spent 10 years in the U.S. Navy with stints as an F-14 aviator and in logistics management.  He has a BS from the U.S. Naval Academy and completed his MBA at MIT’s Sloan School of Management and Golden Gate University.
