Using skills developed over the past 30 years, Mike Lipsey conducts intensive focus group sessions with a cross-section of stakeholders - from key personnel and tenants to regional experts. These sessions provide the consulting team with insight into the problems and form the basis for our recommendations and solutions.

Technical consulting is also available in the areas of operational analysis, and software, technical and systems analysis.

Strategic Planning

Use trends, predictions and market insights to create strategic success. The Lipsey Company has been measurably successful in providing clients with the focus and tools to achieve their strategic goals. While each assignment is unique, our effective two-phase plan can be customized to your organization's needs. The plan includes:

Phase I - A candid assessment of the firm's strengths and challenges.

For a thorough analysis, the Lipsey Company will interview all members of your staff, from top to bottom, tenants in managed buildings and clients. The analysis will provide the basis for a Phase I Report which will analyze the issues - both internal and external - identify strengths, weaknesses and provide recommendations or discussion questions which form the agenda for Phase II.

Phase II - A commitment to simple strategies.

A facilitated strategic planning session between key decision-makers to address the Phase I Report and create a simple strategy to achieve goals. This will provide the basis for the Phase II Report in which we will summarize the discussions and decisions made, outline the strategy and objectives and provide a marketing plan.

Customer Satisfaction Studies

Our clientele encompasses national and international organizations, ranging from global corporations seeking to evaluate and measure customer satisfaction or brand their product/service, to small start-up brokerage firms seeking to streamline their operations and smooth the way for success. Customer Satisfaction Studies provide a candid assessment and evaluation of current systems, processes, technology and attitude at your organization. Each assignment is as unique as the challenges encountered and varies depending on the scope of the project and the goals and objectives of the organization.

PHASE 1: After an in-depth discussion with key stakeholders in which needs, challenges, opportunities, objectives, goals and expectations are discussed, The Lipsey Company conducts a series of focus groups with a cross-section of clients, partners, vendors and employees encompassing all levels of seniority. The purpose of these sessions is to identify strengths and weaknesses throughout the organization, and evaluate current systems, practices and attitudes.

PHASE 2: The results of the focus group sessions and interviews provide the basis for an initial report which will be presented in two parts (i) a straight-forward evaluation of the organization's operations and an analysis of the issues, and (ii) practical recommendations in which viable solutions are presented, systems are suggested and best practices are proposed. Where necessary, software applications, designed to support any technical recommendations are discussed.

PHASE 3: After the initial report has been reviewed, a conference call is scheduled for the purpose of discussing the report in detail. The results of this call are incorporated into a Final Report from which recommendations can be implemented.

PHASE 4: This is an optional phase and incorporates training. Many firms find that the right training, designed to address the issues identified, not only assists in the implementation of change, but serves to reinforce and demonstrate a commitment from management to the entire organization.
